If there are still peaches available where you live – and there are here, so I’m hoping they are there – make this recipe. It’s the simplest dessert in the book, it can cook while you eat dinner, and my husband LOVED it.
Deb Perelman adapted them from Nigel Slater‘s Ripe, and I like her crisp additions. However, as she is quick to point out, if you make them like Nigel, the recipe is a mere three ingredients + peaches. And you probably have them all already!
And…shhhhhh….they can even be breakfast for tomorrow. I won’t tell.
